Taxol is a cancer chemotherapy medication that interferes with the growth of cancer cells and slow their growth and spread in the body.
Some possible problems that a person taking Taxol might have are as follows :
Low blood counts - white and red blood cells and platelets may temporarily decrease.
Hair loss.
Arthralgias and myalgias - pain in the joints and muscles.
Peripheral neuropathy - numbness and tingling of the hands and feet.
Nausea and vomiting (usually mild).
Diarrhea.
Mouth sores.
