How might the location of chloroplasts within these cells be advantageous in light absorption?
Chloroplast Advantages
Chloroplast uses sunlight to perform photosynthesis, and therefore, the chloroplast needs to be located near the plant's surface so that it absorbs enough sunlight (In Canedo, 2018). When the chloroplast is located far from the plant's surface, it means it will absorb less sunlight. Plants need to have their chloroplast near the surface to absorb enough sunlight to convert food into glucose for their survival and reproduction.
