there are 3 different ways that misfiled or unused proteins can be recycled into individual amino acids for use in building new proteins. In what ways is this recycling of oddly shaped and nonfunctional proteins important to the human survival. How would life be different if such a recycling did not take place? Find a research article on the topic of misfiled proteins and disease caused by them. Answer in a short paragraph or two explaining. (I'm having a hard time understanding the topic if you can break it down for me would be so helpful) I couldn't find any articles that made sense for me to write a paragraph explaining.
Recycling of these nonfunctional protein increases the efficiency of cells in two ways: (1) by eliminating the need for complex waste management systems and (2) by providing the cells with new building blocks that don’t need to be imported externally.
Without this recycling, there could be need for importation of protein for new building and also accumulation of waste could increase which could interfere with normal functions of the body. Diseases associated with misfiled and unused proteins failed to be recycled include:Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease ,Huntington's disease .Cellular molecular chaperone has been found to prevent this devastating effect by reducing severity of several neurodegenerative disorders.
