explain the terms
In population ecology, density-dependent processes occur when population growth rates are regulated by the density of a population.
Density-independent factor is any force that affects the size of a population of living things regardless of the density of the population.
Factor detritivores (also known as detrivores, detritophages, detritus feeders, or detritus eaters)are heterotrophs that obtain nutrients by consuming detritus (decomposing plant and animal parts as well as faeces).
Ecosystem ecology is the integrated study of living (biotic) and non-living (abiotic) components of ecosystem and their interactions within an ecosystem framework. This science examines how ecosystems work and relates this to their components such as chemicals, bedrock, soil, plants, and animals.
