(a) Some GM crops that are available to farmers are resistant to herbicides (weedkillers). Other GM crops are resistant to diseases caused by viruses and to damage by insects. Some people are for the use of GM crops because they may be beneficial to ecosystems. Some people are against the use of GM crops because they could harm ecosystems. Discuss these opinions for and against the use of GM crops.

Select a South Africa plant and produce an information sheet. This can be any plant, perhaps a garden plant or medicinal plant, and your information sheet should provide information on the plant and including the following:
•Name and classification of plant (from family to species)
•Photographs (images from internet will be fine, remember to add your source)
•Description (what does the plant look like?)
•Distribution (where does the plant occur in South Africa?)
•Ecology (anything interesting, e.g. pollinators)
•Red List status (this can be found at http://redlist.sanbi.org/)
•Uses
•References (a full list of references following Harvard Style. Remember to do in text referencing that corresponds with this list)

Is cutting field a biotic or abiotic factor?
I have a ecological research proposal and im trying to write it right now but a term in the question is confusing me. I have been given a plan lay out of sorts and in the background section it says 'Here you should explain the ecological context to the research you are planning'. My research proposal question is 'What influence has human activity had on seagrass meadows'. I obviously don't expect anyone to write it for me I just don't understand what the term ecological context means?
