Outline the significance of the formation of the triplex invasion to potential therapeutic applications.
For potential therapeutic applications, the triplex PNA invasion in the DNA molecule is used. The significance of the formation of such a complex is that a full-fledged RNA strand is not formed during transcription from the DNA strand on which hybridization with PNA exists somewhere in the middle. At the same time, accordingly, a full-fledged protein is not synthesized, which makes it possible to use the triplex PNA invasion to inhibit the synthesis of target proteins that are responsible for the course of various diseases.
