Can you explain the difference between the SA node ans AV node in conduction of the heart?
The SA node is located in the upper region of the right atrium. The atrioventricular (AV) node is specialized for slow conduction & to behave as an electrical filter to prevent the ventricles from being paced faster than they can fill with blood when an atrial tachyarrhythmia occurs.
