highlight the differences, advantages, and disadvantages of DNA and RNA vaccines
Differences.
DNA, contains deoxyribose sugar while the RNA contains the ribose sugar.
DNA is a double stranded molecule while the RNA is a single stranded molecule.
DNA is mostly stable under alkaline conditions while the RNA is not stable.
DNA and RNA perform different functions in humans.
Advantages
RNA has the ability to be manipulated with ease
DNA profiles are normally used be used in replacing suspects at the crime scene
Disadvantages
it is very much possible to plant DNA of an innocent person at the crime scene thereby not finding the true culprits
RNA is less stable when compared to DNA because of the presence of the extra oxygen atom.
