There are several benefits of social media. The connections created by social media, the advertisement platform that reaches a wide number of audiences, the platform that is established for people's opinions are some of the major benefits.

The cyber-world has also got its negative parts. Social media causes distraction and interruptions as people are often addicted to it. Fake accounts using someone else's pictures are used. There are privacy issues in social media.
