Do gender, status difference and age affect how you use the different forms of address, greetings, and/or gestures?
Yes, gender, status difference and age affect how one uses the different forms of address, greetings and gestures. In gender for example, one addresses a man as mr while a woman as mrs or miss depending on if she is married or not.
In the status difference, one greets a person according to their title. For example one addresses a lecturer as a professor, a teacher as mr or mrs and a person who has no job at a first name basis.
