The capacitor discharging equation is given by-
"q=q_o(1-e^{-\\frac{t}{RC}})"
In Practical Capacitor can never be fully charged or discharged.
But for practical purpose
It was assume that at time constant "(\\tau=RC)" is "5\\tau" then the capacitor is 99% charged.
Hence At time ("t=5\\tau=5RC)" , It was assume that the capcitor is fully charged.
