Northern Versus Southern Wind Current Direction

The variation in the atmospheric pressure generates wind and typically, at the equator the heat produced on the water and land is higher than the rest of the globe. This results in the rise of the warm air to the pole where air is denser, through a low-pressure system. On the other hand, high pressure system involves the cooler air moving down to replace the warm and less dense air. To the contemplation of these two distinct atmospheric pressures therefore, the wind in the norther region tend to be of higher pressure than that in the southern pole. Ideally, it is also notable that northern winds currents tend to flow in a clockwise direction while the southern wind currents flow in a counterclockwise direction; both towards the center.
