Explain examples of strategies used to manage changes in agriculture
Some of the modern farm systems used originated many decades ago. Despite this, in many areas of agriculture, there have been numerous changes. Various strategies are being employed in the management of these changes. Some of these include utilizing affordable conservation practices like the use of buffers that are saturated which are effective in conservation at the edge-of-field. They have the capability of increasing the removal of nitrate concentration from the farm. Additionally, there is the use of digital technology where farmers connect to consumers directly and can directly sell to end-users. Diversifying with cattle is another strategy that is employed due to changes in agriculture by farmers to ensure that they remain in business during times of hard financial strains. This cushions them against losses in case of low crop yields.
