Answer to Question #79071 in Physical geography for Omair Shafiq

Question #79071
Hello,
My question is that if heating of the ground from the sun causes a low on the ground and a high pressure aloft at a higher elevation.
Then why doesn't it apply to a global level, where tropical high exist at both surface and higher elevations casing the same pattern of wind on both elevation even though both are more than 10km apart
