I agree with this statement to a full extent, and here is why: its economy is growing fast (related to a world level and Africa particularly), its cultural diversity is very high (Chinua Achebe's works are translated to many languages including Russian and Chinese), it is rich in minerals, and historically has been playing an important role in the regions of Africa.
