In the British school system, people undergo four stages in their school life. The entry requirement in these stages of education differs from one stage to another.

The first stage is primary education with the age of 5-11, forming the learners there.It is divided into stages one and two in the UK's education system.

Secondary education is the second part, and it comprises of age 11-16. Primary and secondary stages are mandatory in the education system because they provide a key foundation. From there, someone can choose to proceed or drop out of school.

Further Education deals with the A levels, BTEC's, GNVQ's or any other preferable qualification attended immediately after secondary education.

Finally, we have the Higher Education where students specify in a certain subject area of interest. This stage accepts even international students who want to further their studies in the UK.
