International Community Argumenta regarding U.S. Pollution
Air pollution contributes to most of America’s contamination concerns since it impacts people’s health negatively. A significant number of households in America have health problems linked to air pollution such as lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases. The international community argues most cities in America encourage the burning of fossil fuels such as coal and gasoline, which produce excessive toxic gases that become harmful to the human body when inhaled. Several manufacturing companies rely on coal while a significant number of vehicles depend on gasoline to power the automobile. At least, 4000 people die of asthma in the United States annually whereas four billion dollars are used to treat persons with asthma yearly (How do we cause air pollution?, 2019). The rate of deaths related to the aforementioned causes of air pollution calls for stringent measures whereby more green friendly resources are used to curb the problem and improve public health.
