Explain why the following contracts are void

1.1.Tracy verbally agrees to stand surety for James’ student loan from ZA Bank. 

1.2.Thabo and Samuel are family friends and grew up together. Thabo phones Samuel and offers him R5 million for Samuel’s cattle farm. They agree that they have concluded a contract of sale in respect of the immovable property and do not see the need for a written offer and acceptance as each trusts the other. 

1.3.Jane and Jack decide to get married in community of property. Jane’s cousin is an attorney and drafts the antenuptial contract for them free of charge as a wedding gift. They both sign the antenuptial contract and place it in a safety deposit box at the bank for safe keeping.
