The operations manager of a company that manufactures a variety of building materials such as bricks and cement decide to increase the design department by employing additional
10 engineers who have just graduated from different institutions of higher learning. To ensure that the new employees are brought up to speed regarding productivity, management requests the training department to develop a training programme. The programme should cover issues of Occupational Work Health & Safety, bricklaying and plastering trade tools and uses, and various building material and concrete mixes’ proportions to ensure that the new employees are properly informed regarding what to do, how to do it and where to ask for help and assistance when they are unsure.
1.2 Develop three learning outcomes for the training programme of the newly employed engineers. The learning outcomes must adhere to the criteria of learning outcomes. (12)
