Professional development refers to the development of knowledge and skills into expertise in particular career. It is often reflected in the progression or advancement of work responsibility, and financial reimbursement for the use of their expertise. For example, an individual who wants to develop their career in ICT because they enjoy using computers. They have to first go through training that will enable them understand how to use these computers as well as helping them gain insight into what potential jobs they can get after their training. Jobs are an essential part of professional development because they help a person gain work experience. Work experience is proof that an individual has interacted with and provided solutions for problems that arise in the course of their career. The more work experience a person has, the better their prospects of getting promoted. Consequently, richer and more diverse work experience reflects better professional experience. It is however a process that an individual has to undertake over the course of their lifetime. Work experience that is rich and diverse means that a person should worked at different places within reasonable amounts of time to allow for accumulation and harnessing of expertise
I believe I can be a successful entrepreneur. This can be achieved by listening and learning from successful entrepreneurs, continuous innovation, creativity, resilience and planning.
