Many learners struggle to make the leap from understanding whole number to understanding rational number (which includes whole numbers and fractions). Describe what you will do to help a learner who cannot position  correctly on a number line.
I would suggest.
1. Draw a number line with integers.
2. Then divide each division in half and find the value in the middle of the segment (1 / 2.3 / 2.5 / 2.7 / 2). At the same time, I would draw the attention of students that the numerators are consecutive integers, excluding multiples of 2 (that is, the number by which we divide the segments), and the denominator is equal to the number of parts into which we divide the segment (in our case, 2).
3. Using these patterns, I would suggest dividing all the answers into 3 parts (1/3.2/3.4/3.5/3).
4. Next, you should do the above points for negative numbers.
