Genuine dialogue takes place when each of the participant really has in mind the other in their present and particular being and turns to them with the objective of establishing a living mutual link between himself and others. Where totalization is involved, genuine dialogue between parties involved will not succeed because it prevents duplication of social security for same income. In instances that labelling, reducing persons into social categories comes into perspective with genuine dialogue, labelling reflect and effects how others look at others, hence likely to portray a negative image. The assumption of sameness in genuine dialogue brings out negative result because no one wants to admit that the other person is in a better position to address the other. The entire process ends up affected in terms of failing to come to a conclusion about the discussion in question. Lastly, familiarity is likely to affect genuine dialogue because individuals involved in the conversation are aware of what the other person or group is aware of. The outcome of the event would be unfulfilled goals because an understanding is not put in place to generate the needed outcome because everyone understands the contents of the discussion before the dialogue.
