How would you explain Plantinga, Alvin’s view on induction compare to others?
Alvin Plantinga views on induction are in an analogical perspective in regards to his claim that an individual can inductively infer the existence of other minds from what one knows about their mind and physical objects. Compared to other theorists likes Karl Popper, he perceives that opinions that science does not use induction are just mere myths. According to Popper, the primary function of observations and experiments in science is an attempt to criticize and refute existing theories (Shin, 2021).
