Which very intense meteor shower is taking place annually in December?
The meteor shower called Quadrantids takes place from 28 December to 12 January. This is one of the brightest meteor showers seen from Earth. The zenithal hourly rate is nearly 110, so this meteor shower is as intense as Geminids and Perseids. The declination of its radiant is "+49^\\circ," so it can be seen from all the places in the Northern hemisphere.
