1.   Is it possible to photograph the image of a person in a mirror? If the person being photographed is 6 feet from the mirror and the camera is 10 feet from the mirror, from what distance should be the focus of the camera to produce a sharp image?

The distance between the object and the mirror is 6 feet, i.e., $d_1 ​= 6 \space feet$

Hence image distance also equals 6 feet, i.e., $d_1 ​= 6 \space feet$

Also, the distance between the mirror and the camera is 10 feet, i.e., $d_2 ​=10\space feet .$

Hence the focus of the camera,

$f=d_1 ​+d_2 ​=6+10=16\space feet$
