Submit a Report "the impact of improving debugging skill on programming ability"
A negative correlation was found between time spent debugging a program and student grades as a result of advanced training, suggesting that debugging skills might be a useful predictor of student performance. However, in this experiment, the students were required to correct the erroneous program. To test the correctness of this theory when students correct an unfamiliar erroneous program, a second experiment was designed.
