Shortly explain what is meant by (a) micro-aggressions in general and then (b) apply it to its role in the workplace. (200 words)
a). Micro-aggression is the daily appointment, planned or unplanned interconnections, and interactions in job places that involve the use of discussion and communication in some forms of the bias about the historical setting of the marginalized individuals.
b) Microaggressions in the workplace can have unembellished consequences. People in targeted groups may develop depression and anxiety, leading to absenteeism. Microaggressions can as well affect a person's salary and job gratification. People may also feel undervalued and avoid applying for promotions. Groupings of workplace microaggressions include those that appear as overt discrimination, detrimental behavior, abuse, or harassment. The aggression can be challenging to identify and resolve in many cases because it is not complete, barefaced, or even hateful.
