Student contribute to teachers practices daily through; focusing on core concepts, identifying sub skills which can be achieved by asking students to apply what they have learned can sound like a fairly easy task to accomplish, but in reality, it is complicated, and students may not have developed the skills they need to do it well. Also by providing students with practice as students develop the ability to apply their learning by practicing application.
Curriculum is content, but when contextualized, it comes alive for students. The role of teachers in the curriculum process is to help students develop an engaged relationship with the content. Active learning will increase the focus and retention of the curriculum, resulting in an exciting learning environment.
Behaviorism has made some major contributions to education as a theory of learning. While the term isn't all that popular and is in many circles is disdained, it still influences education today in four main ways namely, segmented instruction, social efficiency, operant conditioning and rapid feedback.
