Globalization is not without its drawbacks. As a result, globalization can significantly influence local economies by lowering the viability of economies and the critical services they provide. Globalization may exacerbate inequality and wealth disparities between the less and more and less educated people of a society. This implies that people in developed countries must hunt for jobs with those in lower-cost economies. Workers and unions may be unable to guard themselves against the dangers posed by firms that provide the choice between reduced pay and losing positions to a vendor in a less-expensive labour market. The situation is more complicated in developing nations where local economies change rapidly. As a result, unskilled workers are impacted by falling wages, constantly under stress from globalization. Globalization can also boost resource depletion in exporting economies, with exploitation rates rapidly spreading economically (Hughes et al., 2007). For instance, with greater globalization, the exploitation of urchins extended to various nations.
