i) Children in early primary school have a problem with handling formal arithmetic. For example, it may be difficult for them to learn the rules for subtraction and multiplying.
ii) Repetition is not the same as rote learning. For example, you repeat some rule, when you complete some similar exercises using this rule. But rote learning is when you just learn the rule.
iii) Objects of different shapes may have the same volume. For example, the cube and the sphere can have the same volume.
