This is absolutely true because the surrounding world constantly transforms us. For example, the first geographers were afraid to travel long distances because they thought the Earth is flat and has borders. However, some of them traveled far enough to understand that this is wrong. These geographers transferred this knowledge to the next generations who were brave enough to travel even further.
Thus, we are the mechanical expression of our hereditary and past environment.
