Companies apply various positioning methods in market so that they are always ahead in competition. The following are two positioning methods that I believe would be best suited to the market I have selected for targeting.
Firstly, is the Competitor approach whereby this positioning method is most suitable for positioning products in the market, we can also use this approach with an understood or clear way of reference to other competitors in the market to identify how and why our product is better than others.
Secondly, there is Price quality approach where by both price and quality major factors are determining product performance in the market. To position a product, we can validate different price-quality categories of our product in terms of features, suitability, and cost; top price in relation to the quality of the product would be the best option to position the product.
