Probability density or referred as position probability density in all over space is given by following notation
"P={\\int_{all \\space}\\psi^*\\psi d\\tau}"
"P={\\int_{all \\space}|\\psi |^2d\\tau}=1"
Now consider we are going to find particle in range in range a to b then probability density can be expressed as
"P=\\frac{\\int^a_b\\psi^*\\psi d\\tau}{\\int_{all \\space}\\psi^*\\psi d\\tau}"
