Today, globalization permits items to be manufactured and sold all over the world. Fast food businesses, for example, are opening locations every day around the world in order to establish themselves and compete for customers. Due to globalization, businesses can also operate where production costs are the lowest. Globalization makes it easy to receive services from all over the world, for example, a US-based corporation can hire an accountant in India to perform its taxes via the internet. There is a cultural side to globalization, in addition to trade. It brings people from many cultures together, allowing them to learn about and embrace different ways of life.
