Identify and discuss the contribution of Karl Marx to the development of the sociology interprise.
Karl Max developed a sociological perspective called the conflict theory. The theory focuses on the ways economics define social roles and expectations. Max postulates that society is formed by a set of economic classes from the proletariat, the workers, and the bourgeoisie, the business investors and government leaders.
The conflict theory answers the following questions in society; How is money used to control the employment class? How are social classes defined by types of work? What is the relationship between workers, money, the government and society? How does the economy influence social distinction?
In this theory, society relies on class conflict to keep the wealthy in the upper position and the poor as the subject to the government.
