Discuss how the following extrinsic barriers to learning can negatively affect learners in inclusive education setting
TECHNICAL CRITERIA
The use of Technical criteria has become part of our daily routine. We use it every day when we talk on our cellphones, take selfies, video chat, play with apps, and send emails, you name it. Technical criteria do not only have positive outcomes, but it also has negative outcomes that are linked to the education of children in the K-12 system. One of the negative outcomes of using too much technology with students is the time spent per child and the quality. It is believed that teachers spend less time with students. There have already been some questions on the amount of time that a teacher spends on a student, now there are more concerns that teachers will spend even less time with their students. This leads to believe that the quality of the time spent per child also decreases. Another issue that technology has on children is the excessive amount of screen time a child is exposed to. Too much exposure to the media can lead to cognitive problems.
